Gleb's Fantastic guide on how to make delicious vegetable soup
Hello, my name is Gleb and today I am going to show you how to cook vegetable soup.
When you have washed your hands we may begin cooking a soup.
Peel one big, fat potato, half of a long, orange carrot and half of a sad onion.
If you want you can use leeks but if you don’t like leeks you may use yellow, juicy corn, cabbage etc… (I really like to use corn, it’s my favourite).
Put all your smelly rubbish in the bin. Chop the carrot, potato and onion into small equal squares.
Fry the sad onions and garlic in olive oil or butter, until they are golden brown, soft and happy.
Add potatoes, carrots and leeks or whatever you are using (I mean corn). Keep stirring your soup.
Measure 500ml of water and add to a big, round saucepan. Make sure the jug is on a flat surface. Keep on a medium heat.
Add smelly seasoning if you want (pinch of salt ½ and teaspoon of pepper).
Leave to cook for 10 – 15 long minutes with the lid on until the potatoes and carrots are cooked. Enjoy your soup with piece of soft white bread.
